Sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy, The Mercy Center on Aging, Inc. is funded, in part, through a subcontract with the Area Agency on Aging, a division of the Greater Erie Community Action Committee (GECAC).

Funding only covers staff salaries and a nominal amount for space use. The balance necessary to support quality programs comes through private donations and fund raisers.

The Sisters of Mercy have an established Memorial Fund reserved to insure continued funding of a valued ministry. Donations are welcomed.

Memorial envelopes are available at the Center or in many of the local funeral homes. These donations are a kind way to remember a loved one, particularly someone who has benefited from the Mercy Center's services and programs. Donations are acknowledged by a letter of appreciation and the required verification for tax consideration presented for larger gifts.
